The electrical connectors used to attach charger adapters and cradles have
been updated for 2008 and later models of the MagLite Rechargeable flash-
light systems. Version 1 and Version 2 adapters and cradles are not directly
compatible, but can be easily connected together with an available optional
conversion cable set. Check the accessory listings below for version details.
New for 2010, the updated MagCharger flashlight now has a more powerful
NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery, with up to 34% more storage capacity
than their earlier (more environmentally toxic) Nickel Cadmium battery. The
two battery types are interchangeable between old & new flashlight models.
