When one of our customers asked for high-brightness, broad-coverage floodlights
for overseas use, we did our homework. And the most versatile and cost-effective
solutions we could find were from Nitech Ltd, one of our flashlight suppliers. These
premium-quality floodlights are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.
Brilliant engineering is combined with superior materials and fine craftsmanship to
produce these powerful, rugged, dependable floodlights. Used by the British MOD
(Ministry of Defence), emergency services organizations, and utility companies, the
Nitech floodlights are built to deliver bright, cool, silent, reliable light for many years.
And their modular design makes them maintainable for easy repairs when needed.
These units are not inexpensive, but thanks to their extraordinarily efficient operation,
ownership payback intervals can be within a few months in cost comparisons to high
power halogen systems. For example, a 5,000-lumen corded model consumes less
than 35 Watts (that's less than a 300-lumen household appliance bulb for the oven or
refrigerator). A 5,000-lumen rechargeable model can operate at the high brightness
setting for 7 hours, and then fully recharges in just 6 to 7 hours, for just a few pennies.
Carbon footprint reductions of up to 3,000 kilograms per year are possible with daily
use applications, when compared to typical hot-running 500 Watt halogen floodlights.
Nitech offers a wide range of power levels, in both corded and rechargeable models.
Flashlights Unlimited will help you configure and customize these floodlights to meet
your particular illumination and power requirements. We can provide corded models
for use with either universal-voltage mains AC or vehicle DC power sources, and we
can provide 2-wire or 3-wire cords & plugs for virtually any location across the globe.
Connector options include: stripped wire leads with wire nuts, quick disconnect tabs,
grounded or ungrounded North American plugs, European / Schuko plugs, grounded
and fused UK plugs, Australian plugs, Molex® plugs, twist-lock plugs or military plugs.
Generator-powered halogen-lamp-based portable lighting systems exhibit high costs
and serious disadvantages (such as distracting noise, heavy weight, flammable fuels,
noxious fumes, dangerous heat, and the need for repetitive maintenance). When you
compare those factors with the cool, quiet, efficient, pennies-per-day operation of an
equivalent Nitech rechargeable lighting solution, the right choice will be perfectly clear
and extraordinarily bright. Whether you choose corded models (for permanent instal-
lation or temporary use in powered areas) or rechargeable models (for use in remote

Each new Nitech floodlight will be made to order, depending upon customer needs.
Pricing will vary with the power level, and with selected options and accessories for
each model. In general, the corded model prices may range between US$200 and
US$600 each, and rechargeable systems can be between US$600 and US$1,200.
Additional shipping charges will be applied, and must be calculated for each order.
Partial or full advance payments may be required for certain orders. Typical factory
lead times range between one and three weeks, but allow two to four weeks before
shipment is made from our offices (allowing for interim transport from the UK to the
US, and for customization of power connectors after the new floodlights arrive here).

Do you need spare parts for existing Aurora floodlights? Because we are a factory-
