The most technologically advanced personal lighting instruments available anywhere!
Bright white light can sometimes interfere with needed night vision, but this problem
can usually be resolved by using a single color of light instead of white. This reduces
the visual adjustment required when looking into darkness after seeing a lighted area.
For situations in which it is desirable to preserve night vision, two options are available
for the Ergo and ErgoMarine models. One uses two red and two white LEDs, the other
uses two green and two white LED's. The LED pairs can be independently operated,
as shown in the examples above. Green is frequently preferred for night work by pilots
and navigators, while red is often preferred by hunters and astronomers. Please see

The microprocessor programming is slightly different for these dual-color EternaLight
models, when compared to the standard Ergo or ErgoMarine. This change allows for
selection of the LED color pairs. Note that the ErgoXRay model is not available in this
dual-color configuration, due to programming overhead for the NightBeacon™ feature.
